Balik Kampung!!

I just return from my hometown, Johor yesterday. To be precise, my hometown is Batu Pahat, which is near Pagoh n Muar. Initially i plan to blog on the spot last night, but due to my laziness... ok. But basically my trip there is.. boring. Fortunately my family juz stayed there for 2 days. 2days 1 night. On the way to uncle's hse at BP, we ( my parents n i) stopped at some malay stall by the roadside, to have our meal. Guess wat did i eat ?

Its mee bandung~ unfortunately since im a poor spicy food eater,i vomit everything out after they got into my mouth i just eat part of them to fill my stomach with something to digest.

Being a 2days trip, wat can u expect me to do ? Right, the ans is nothing. Nothing means.. the exact opposite of everything. =.= That night, few of my cousins with their respective dad n mum came over to the uncle's house for 'bai nian' . While the big guys like uncles n aunties at outside on the living room, smaller ppl like me, my cousins n niece or nephew or watever gathered in my uncle's bedroom. At first, only my cousin n i were inside the room because he wanna introduce me to her fav jpop singer, Namie Amuro n her MVs. Too bad they aren't reli my cup of tea. Nami tamaki better XD . As time passes, more n more of the others came into the room.. N.. i couldnt remember the rests already. haha

Thats 1 of my cousin. She was busy telling stories to my other cousins because she claims to be a story-teller, not a student.

Just 1 shot taken from my uncle's house. (n its candid) hahah sorry for dat. I could barely take any pics because nobody else did dat. Later that night, we were expecting some fireworks to soar above the sky but nothing could be heard of. Not like it bothers me anyway.

Ang Pau Ang Pau.. Wats a chinese new year with Ang Pau. I bet some of u gain loads of ang pau money from ur generous uncles n aunts , no? Im not that lucky as u people. I received some of the most disturbing amount of ang pau money ever obtained by a chinese in the whole world. RM74 ( translate into mandarin; go n die ) hahahah... ok. i lied. After using my graphics calculator to sum up the total amount of cash in the ang paus, i believe its roughly RM63 (!!) i received from my aunts n uncles there at Johor. Well i couldnt blame on them because they r not of wealthy or super generous human-beings. I hope they r ikhlas, den sudah cukup.. hehe. Wait RM63 isnt everything yet. Plus RM100 from my parents, RM20 from Ms Mahes n RM50 from Jack's mum, its about RM233 in total so far. Besides my parents, the highest ang pau value obtained is from Jack's mum, which i consider an outsider. Isnt that awkward? Ms Mahes gav me RM20 which i consider quite high already. N she is an outsider too. @.@ Perhaps the conclusion that can be derived is.. the richer ur surrounding people are, the more ang pau money u get. Not neccesarily people closer to us giv us more money, agree?

Watever it is, my trip back to Johor is pretty fruitful. The reason is because my uncle who is a dvd-freak is more than willing to lend me 3 of his cd/dvd back home.

On the next morning, my parents n i part with them at approximately 12 o'clock without having our lunch there. Grandma was disappointed. Mum doesnt like to stay there long as she just dislike the environment and its accomodity. N the place is real boring. As i leave the place, i know i wont be coming back here for quite some time. Hope everybody will stay healthy n lucky always :)

Before heading back to KL, i request my parents to bring me to our old house at somewhere slightly far away from the uncle's house.

Oh ya, on the way home, i heard of a news about some woman in Canada(?) or some other european countries managed to deliver 8 babies right after another. Simply amazing. u know, 8 symbolizes fortune for Chinese too. n coincidentally she gave birth on the 1st day of CNY. Cool.

We also dapao some nasi beriani back home somewhere near my old house there. The rice is good, but the bad news is, it causes me to have the sorethroat back !! Zz n dis times, it comes with phlegm. wat a disaster =.=" hope i faster recover !! i hate making repeatative turns to toilet.

This year's CNY is not wonderful. Hope next year's will be better. My gf now is somewhere at Perth now.. n its another 5 days trip just like the 1 in China. If u have been reading my blog, u should know about this. Sigh..luckily by the time im typing all these, she will be back in another 2 or 3 days. Dats a silver lining among the clouds :D

Chinese New Year

Tonight, will be the most celebrated day for all the chinese in the world. Hundreds to thousand millions of people will gather n shout... 3!2!1! *boom* dats the fireworks before either the massive countdown at big cities or minor ones at kampung-like areas, such as the place i live. =.= haha juz joking. Anyway, how do u feel right now? happy? excited? stress?? Me? My throat hurts T__T ya allah kenapa CNY sudah datang, nak bagi saya sakit tekak lagi huh ? aduhai..

Seriously, when u have something went wrong in your body especially during grand events like this 1, nothing can get worse than that. Can u imagine yourself sitting alone, watching other little brats running around, laughing, eatting GOOD FOOD, and then slowly approaches u n tease u for being sick? *cough* *cough* Life sucks.

Fortunately, all i have is this uneasy throat. Ntg else. Hopefully by the end of the day, things will get better. 2moro, i will be going to Johor again.. To be frank, returning there simply equals to moment of extreme boringness. Ok, mayb this time, it wont get that bored because of all this... you know, celebration. But still, being a person who has no life, i probably will drown in my little Hello KittyFinal Fantasy world. I shall bring my psp there ! XD *i hope my grandma doesnt see these*

The 2 recent tvb series i watch. D.I.E is some kind drama which combines comedy and action. Not bad. I like Roger Kwok's acting as some weird but funny guy XD
Last One Standing is on the other hand, a pure action and abit of violence. Still.. a good series! Notice that both of the drama starring Roger Kwok. haha nope im not fanatic of him. Juz mere coincidence.

Just a minute ago, i drank a cup of 100plus with added salt. Dad told me that drinking it will cleanse the toxins n mayb ''heat'' from our body, thus relieving us of any sorethroat or ''heaty'' body. Chinese ppl believes that salt is some kind of remedy for reducing ''heat'' from body, but also increase blood pressure. If added to soft drinks like 100plus, somehow, it should complement one another.

At the end of the post, i wish everybody, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR !! Hope every1 will have a good day ^_^

Nowadays especially for the past 2 days, i felt really sleepy n tired. Dunno why, even when im walking outside, i just couldnt stand still n just to realize my eyes r slowly closing.. mayb im lack of sleep.. zzzz.. hahha ( silly way to begin my post -.-" )

Anyway, yesterday was a considerably busy but somehow boring day for me. My parents n i went out at approximately 10 in the morning and i checked the clock. We came home as the clock nearly strikes 11. Thats more like 12 to 13 hours outside. N for a person who apparently looks like zombie n has deficiency of sleeping, don't u think its alil too much for him? NOT. In fact im not dat tired last night. kekeke sry for contradiction. Ok back to the topic. We were suppose to go to IDP, in order to do my visa stuff and later in the evening, to do some medical checkup. Actually i went to subang at expense of Kumon. Ya there was Kumon dat morning. N we r supposed to be there to help Ms Mahes, the indian principal to arrange the furniture, tables n stuff. From her face, i never thought she believes feng shui ! Weehee i escaped from doing that piece of work. IDP saved me. Kudos to u hahahaha wat does kudos mean by the way.

Aahh.. im so lazy to blog. But ok.. continue. haha. i went to AC to have my lunch with my papa n mama. Den we left for the hospital to do the health examination aka medical checkup. My dad picked Tong Shan Hospital. Heard of it be4? My gf told me it's an old hospital. Mayb it is. There, i did x-ray after the long waiting n queues.. den do some minor body checkup like testing for eye-sight, color blindness, blood pressure, height n weight. Anyone who do intend to leave Malaysia n go overseas for further education, u cant escape from these annoying lil exams. I heard from somewhere ( is it from Kelvin) that each year, 2% of ppl who went for these medical checkup fail to deliver a healthy status result in the medical report. or stg like that. I hope i wont be among the 2% there. *gulp* Spent nearly 100 bucks on these checkups. OH but pls dun misunderstood. If u were in my msn list n saw my latest pm, this wasnt the 100 bucks i was talking. I'll get to there later.

After the boringness at hospital, we went to eat at Jalan Alor. The main menu is some char siew+chicken rice. Quite nice for such a normal thing i eat for almost everyday. Then, somwhere nearby is some stalls which sell ...

haha u probably eat this be4. its.. roasted pork (rou kan) bread with chicken floss added. Yummy~~

After eating, its time for... SHOPPING !! 3 of us went to Sg Wang to buy me several stuffs which we forgotten to buy in another day. At the end of the day, i bought a nice sport shoes- brand is Oasis , a slipper which is leather-made? , and a luggage bag. Basically Sg Wang isnt my favourite shopping spot. Because as i said, imma ah pek!! hahaha ah pek dun like walk in Sg Wang :P

Sigh nowadays i felt that im really blur.. mayb its because im really an old man afterall..

Talking about the 100 bucks, its becoz recently i just earn about rm90 from Kumon. n i wish to earn more, since i can watch drama while doing the worksheets. Watch drama n gaining money.. how cool is that? Unfortunately, the principal disallow me to do anymore worksheets because she says .. ''Norris, tell me why should i let u do the worksheets, when i know u will be leaving Kumon in the next 2,3 weeks? u tell me !? wats the point of giving incentive to a worker who is going to quit the job pretty soon?'' piff

19 years old

Everyone.. I HAVE JUST TURN 19!! i cant believe myself. my face is already look like an old hag, but my age also betrays me..sob... well.. better dun think too much @.@

so as an once-in-a-year event, u all probably guessed i will go wild n celebrate my day like mad, didnt u? but wrong!! totally. i mean my bday wasnt a sad 1. but its just like another day among the holidays. wait.. mayb not dat terrible. hahaha

this morning, my parents n i went to Sg Wang. The main purpose is of course to celebrate my birthday while buying me some stuffs as bday gifts or things to be brought to Aussie soon in February. oh btw, im not going to Sdyney oh. Who say its Sdyney 1? Im going Rmit, n it's located in Melbourne. Anywayy.. after more than 2,3 hours spent in Parkson, i came out with 2 new shirts, a long pants and some huge, thick shirt.. if im not wrong, its called cloak. Its important for me to survive in cold places like australia. And i love both of the shirts bought 2day. The pants n cloak r so so. Spent around 200 bucks on dis few items. Not dat expensive right? Its because we only pick those with discount or not so branded ones only. hehehe we r living in a world of cheapskates. Then, its time for lunch! Since we (me n my mum) spent excess time on shopping session, we r pretty desperate for food already. Because? hungry. Initially we plan to have some japanese food, but we couldnt afford to waste anymore time to look around for them. So, we just simply settled down at some Hong Kong style Noodle house, which if im not mistaken, located not far away from bb plaza's entrance. I ate a soya-sauce chicken noodle, which is not half bad.

After eating, straight away headed back home. At home, i really felt like sleeping because of some pills dat make me drowsy eaten last nite. However... i brought back piles of junks from Kumon to do at home. Remember Kumon? Dats where children r trained to be some proffesional assasin or joker Dats where i worked. i brought back some worksheets which can earn me extra pocket money.

Dats the 3 sets of English worksheets with their respective difficulty levels. I was actually doing them while watching some tvb drama. ( to ease my boredom )

Part of the exercise.. i bet these works r too tough to be done by Kelvin chew :P

Then, for dinner, we went to eat at....

Be4 dat, dad went to secret recipe to get me n my mum some cakes. actually is 2 slices of cake. Cost 6.50 for each slice.

hello world ! im finally back from Kota Kinabalu. Although just a duration of 5 to 6 days, i felt like ages since i last posted. Anyway, did anyone of u miss me? :D oh? miss my blog? icic

Ok the trip to KK was a memorable 1. Despite the fact dat i wasnt anticipated n got fully excited about this trip be4 the 8th, dat doesnt mean it couldnt turn out in the opposite way, agree ? :)

~Day 1 (8th Jan)~

I left my house at around 11to12 stg? n as my parents n i reached subang, we went to IDP. I received my RMIT offer letter already! Then, i left IDP n met up with Calvin n Jon near AC. Three of us walk to somewhere near Salmon Steak or u can say somewhere near the Mak Cik's Ramlee burger there, to meet the (red-nose) monkey Kelvin. Good news is, his kind dad will fetch 4 of us to LCC terminal, which means we could save some money from the taxi's fee. I think it took around 30 to 40 mins of ride from taylor there to LCCT. Pls correct me if i was wrong. Inside the car, we had some chit-chat, after like duno-how-many-millinieum yrs we din met each other.

As we reach LCCT, immediately we go scan our luggage bags n bagpack thru the scanner (duh) n.. the normal stuff? Check in our luggages n obtain the tickets for the plane or something. oh ya, me being the first time flying in the air, i didn noe we must put on the locker on our luggage if we wanted to check in them! @_@! silly me, i just check in the luggage without any locks! how dangerous wei. luckily ntg horrible happen to me. After dat, we just walk around n sat on the bench while drinking. Soon, the plane arrived n everyone of us boarded.

The moment i entered the plane, i felt feverish. I got extreme nausea, felt like vomitting. My fingers n feet r swollen like attacked by gout. My armpits felt tickled n wet (n itchy) hahahaha =___=" Experience in the aeroplane is pretty cool. Since the seat onli hav 3 places, dis means dat 1 of us will hav to sit alone. Being fair n square, we decided to cut the team to 2-2. i sat with calvin, while Jonathan sat with Kelvin. But they r just right behind me n calvin anyway. We departed at abt 5.10 n approximately arrived at KK's air asia airport at about 7++ During the taking off moment, everythings under control... TILL the plane suddenly fly above towards the cloud at a firing speed. My heart felt like stopped functioning in a sec. n wats worse if u hav an annoying guy sit nxt to u, who keep whispering to u, saying the plane will crash n we gonna die in a matter of secs? hahaha sori calvin :P

Reached KK at 7++ why i repeat again? -.-' Jack n if im not wrong, 1 of his fren, VC who was there in the car too, fetched us. After kao tim the airport things like check out our luggage n greetings with the KK guys, we got into the big car n left. omg i felt like i was telling every single thing dat happened. ok nvm. 6 of us headed to some place which is home to many food especially at night.

The main motive jack they all bring us to this place, is to try its famous Mee Tuaran. Its name is inspired from a place called Tuaran, according to Jack Chua Wen Jye. Everybody's talking besides me. Im very quiet :D

After dat, we went to jack's house. omgilababiapunene. His house is so big beyond my belief. His house's size is like.. a mini-castle. Seriously big big n really spacious. First impression on his house : O_O""" Kelvin chew was shouting like wahlao eh! omg! *wats dat!!**looking at the antique phone* Anyway, enough of sounding like seperti rusa masuk bandar. After viewing his humogous house, we went into a room with a table in it. The purpose is to ply a game which resembles mahjong.

this is it. The rules n its gameplay, im not reli sure. heheh

ok.. dat basically the first day o_o

~Day 2 (9th Jan)~

On the second day, we thought we r going to the beach.But Jack told us dat 10th onli we go. On well. On 9th, we did some shopping at 2 shopping complexes. 1 is centre (standard?) point. Although the shopping mall is not big, 1 of us bought something there. err... dun reli remember the content. Basically we just walk around n round , like merry go round. Nxt we went to the 2nd shopping mall, called 1B aka 1 borneo. Well,.. 1B is a better place for us because we have relatively more things to do there. n Jack likes 1B more because free parking. Wat can 5 guys do in a shopping mall for nearly a whole afternoon n evening anyway ? Nothing. Pool.. cc.. eat.. walk around... dats all.

Den if i hav not mistaken, jack's parents treated us a dinner at some high class restaurant called May Flower Restaurant. We ate lotsa hao liao!! i mean tasty delicacies. Omg la. i felt like i had never ate such grand dinner be4. But it seems more like a normal dinner for jack's family. Mayb im the weird 1. (coz im poor ma)

Later dat night, we played jack's ps2. n also talk among ourselves. Then i think we started playing chor dai di dat night? hmm.. think again. i felt dat it was not on the 2nd day. Mayb is the 3rd day. watever la.. But day 2 is pretty sien.

~Day 3 (10th Jan)~
On this day, we went to beach.

Couldnt open my eye becoz of the sea breeze -.-

After beach, we walked around the resort place. N while walking, i saw dis animal. No its not lizard. its a crocodile. but let u guess if its a real or fake croc ? Next, we went to eat some kelapa bakar as recommended by Jack n his frens. Din took any pic of them, but the kelapa bakar is merely so so. It tastes more like some roasted coconut only. Besides that, we ate pudding coconut which is way nicer to eat and tastier. Also, when finished the kelapa, we tried some lokan which u might wanna consider it as olyster? But it smells really raw, which is not my cup of tea.

Then, we went to eat,.. CC.. those stuff again. lol later in the evening, Jack's parents bring us to eat seafood at some seafood restaurant. We had lots of prawn, crabs, fish, vege n pork meat. The pork is actually mongolian pork meat which me n calvin truly love. Overall, yet another superb dinner i had. n the price of the dinner also superb. (paid by jack's dad haha)

Next, we went to cc again? or go back home? 4gotten already. poor memory haha. We played chor dai di almost all the nights. Play till sienzz well mayb im the onli 1 who got sien. Jonathan lo enjoyed the most -_-

~ Day 4 (11th Jan)~

We went to Kadazan house. urm.. instead of went, i thk i should say, we just drive thru n see how their houses r like. Nothing extraordinary. Just look like some typical malay house. No pic sry. After dat, Jack drove us to 1B because we had seriously nothing better to do. Since we haven watch any movie together be4, we went to watch..

Well.. Yes Man is quite funny for some scenes. But overall, for a comedy show, i still prefer MEET THE SPARTANS !! haha

After finished Yes Man, i went to play pool with jon. n Loses terribly. But dun get misunderstood because im afraid he will cry if he loses to me. Dats y... hehehe. Well, we had our 3rd n final dinner with jack's parents again. We nearly couldnt attend the dinner because there was a heavy rain with many other miscellaneous events like accident, spoilt traffic light causing serious traffic jam n disturbing sound made by Kelvin Chew when he was singing/talking cock. At last, fortunately we did arrived there at the nick of time. i mean its not dat nick, but jack's parents r willing to wait for us to eat dinner together. So,... yeah u got it. AMAZING dinner! haha somehow i enjoy the 3rd dinner among the 3 dinners with jack's parent. Mayb its because i was really hungry. After that, we went home. n actually somethings wrong with Calvin already. Guys, remember he told us he got stomachache, but still wanna eat yoyo ice? i bet thats where the series of unfortunate events triggered. Ok, den Jack drove us to yoyo ice for calvin's gourmet sake. bought 3 sets of yoyo ices. Back home, Calvin immediately rushed into the toilet, while the rest of us doing the normal stuff like chor dai di, play ps2/pc, talk rubbish, walk around, n play guitar? onli Kelvin n Jon play it.

~ Day 5 (12th Jan) ~

On the 5th day, something disasterous finally happen to us or jack's family. In the morning, Jack strangely ask any of us if we got stomachache or feel dizzy. He told us dat his bro, sis, and mother fell sick. They vomitted n suffered from acute stomachpain. I saw Jack's bro, n he looked half-dead back then.

Then, we had our brunch and went to Sabah art muzium.

Its the outside look of the muzium. Y did i even bother taking dis pic? ntg special zz slap me pls Then, we went to 1B again. This time, we watched Ip Man. Nice fighting movie. I like the scene where Ip Man fight with 10 japanese guys in the tournament. Cool man. Apparently, despite Ip Man got shot by 1 of the evil japanese general, he did not die! how is dat possible ? o_O opss dats spoiler. anyway, good cantonese movie. Den, be4 the Ip Man began, we went to cc again. Now u noe life in KK is onli cc. buahaha juz joking. After watching da movie, we went to a nearby Japanese household product shop which is still in 1B. Bought several things. Same goes to Kelvin. That red-nose (hahaha) clown bought many magic thing n ..

In fact, he spent more than 20bucks? on the things bought in the shop. Wasted his dad's money like a bai ga zai XD Each item cost 5bucks btw. Then, we went to eat at some random corner Resraurant which is full of people. We just wait for the seats n den, had our considerably sumptious dinner. When we was about to finished eating, Calvin told Jack that he's sick. Then, he vomitted (!!) with the other customers there staring at us. His face turned pale. Poor Calvin. Right after we finished dinner, Jack drove to some minimarket, bought some gardenia bread. Den immediately we went to the clinic, against Calvin's will. Dat nite is a horrible night for Calvin.

~Day 6 ( 13th Jan)~

Dat morning, Jack woke up me. n i had some stomachache as well. after doing the big business, felt lot better. Den when everyone woke up, only we know dat Jack n Kelvin had also fall sick. Vomit n direa Only Jon survived. Although i got some stomachache, my case is alot less serious than the others. Counted i survived too. Day 6 is the last day we r at KK. n every1 fell sick. how memorable. lol We didn go anywhere on dis day, till somewhere around 5+ to leave for the airport. Before we go, Jack's mum gav everyone of us big ang pao ! freaking nice ! hehe free 50 bucks :D

As we reached the airport, Calvin accompanied me to buy a locker for my luggage. Checking in luggage without being locked is as risky as playing Russian Roulette. Jack's fren, Ah Lai helped me with the locker stuff. im a noob x_x Then, after finished checking in and obtained our returning ticket, we ate at KFC. Naturally, i was super hungry dat moment. Because? I basically did not have my lunch. Juz ate abit of porridge at the morning with the sick guys. Fast food rocks!! hehhe

Den comes the moment we say byebye to KK. As we about to leave Jack n Lai, Kelvin chew made some silly face. He stared hard at Jack because he wont see him again. o_o'
The flight back to KL is scheduled at 8.00 and we arrived at LCCT at around 10.30.

Although i felt fairly keberatan to part with the guys, on the other hand, i felt comfortable when i stepped onto the peninsular Malaysia n more importantly, back to my house. OK.. This post has came to its end. Hopefully in the future, we could meet n hang out together again XD

This is a rare fruit which could hardly be found in KL. Its called durian belanda aka tarap. Feels slimy but taste kinda like durian mixed with mango n lemon for me. not bad.

Dis is the bed where i slept on for about 4 nites. the rest of the nite, i slept on the larger bed next to it. We were basically taking turns to sleep on different bed on the large guest room.

Im going to KK 2moro!! wat? ur asking me if im excited about it anot? Not much -_- hahaha i bet calvin or jack will double-team on me if they knew wat i written here. But a promise is a promise. I wont release the aeroplane at dis last moment. Oh well.. i juz hope dat i could survive the beach session n hav some fun time in KK.. dear.. wish me luck. hahaha Will Might blog about my trip at KK after i returned on the 13th ya~~ I will miss my beloved 1 everyday :)

Oh ya, did i mention i went to Kajang yesterday? i have my new ic card with my new 18 yrs old dumb face on it. Very Freaking ugly face T.T sry, face problem is 1 of my greatest issue -.-
n later on the evening, my parents n i went to a satay restaurant named... Restoran Haji Samuri if im not mistaken. Pls take note its spelled S.A.M.U.R.I ,, not samurai. lol As u might already noe or i have already stated, Kajang is renowned for its satay. n i bet none of u can resist satay ( well, unless ur a vegetarian) Yummyyy !!

Be4 we had the satay, my dad grabbed some nasi lemak on the table near the counter there. n its rice is unbelievably delicious despite onli hav eggs n chili. im not bluffing or exagerating.

Dats the sate we hav waited for. Once ur at Kajang, u shouldn't miss it. Even if ur on diet, just giv it a try! at least a stick pls

Seriously, sate rocks my socks. hahaha i copy dis line from another person. If by chance ur from somewhere else n u got urself at Kajang, go to dis Hj. Samuri Restaurant. Not the Restaurant Malaysia near Metro Plaza. Er.. but the exact address of Hj Samuri i duno X_X juz use a taxi or something :P

Okay la.. i have finished promoting dis sate n dis restaurant. The boss of Hj Samuri will pay me well for dis hehee Enough blogging. I gotta hav my dinner now. Goodbye people. 5to6 days cant msn with u T__T swt
